Neville names the FOUR priority signings for Man Utd this summer
Your Site' Gary Neville says Man Utd must make FOUR key signings this summer to go to the next level.
United secured Champions League football for next season with a 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday.
But pinpointing where the squad needs to improve, he told The Gary Neville Podcast:
"I think Manchester United need a left-back for next season because Luke Shaw has played every game this season, and I think he may struggle.
"They need a centre-back, 100 per cent.
"And they need two central midfield players.
"They're the four priorities right now.
"Now, look, if you could then maybe trade Mason Mount for someone else who maybe can play in and out and be a bit more flexible across that midfield and forward line, I'd say, yeah, let's go for a fifth.
"But if you can't, I would say they're the four. And they've got to be top-notch, those four players. That's the real priority right now."
Aberdeen exploring deal for Hibs' Boyle

Aberdeen are exploring a deal for Hibernian forward Martin Boyle.
Its understood initial contact has been made as the Dons hope to convince the Australia international to move back to his home city.
Boyle, 33, will leave Hibs this summer when his contract expires.
A number of clubs are expected to make approaches for the player in the coming weeks.
Brentford to extend Jensen and Henry deals
Brentford intend to trigger the options in Mathias Jensen and Rico Henry's contracts this summer - extending their stays until 2027.
The club are also not ruling out discussing new longer-term contracts with the pair as they keep their situations under review.
Central-midfielder Jensen, who turned 30 earlier this year, has continued to be an important part of the team this season, scoring five goals and setting up three in 38 appearances.
Left-back Henry, 28, has been out with a hamstring problem but is nearing a return, and was in a rich vein of form up until he sustained the knock in February.
Head coach Keith Andrews recently said: "They're certainly players that I want to keep. So, we'll let that be discussed in the coming weeks and hopefully that will work out the way that we all want."
Brentford are heading into the summer in a strong position, with Josh Dasilva the only other player out of contract, but he also has an option to extend.
The rest of the squad still have at least two years left on their deals, including the likes of Kevin Schade, who have had interest from other clubs in the recent past.
The club are assessing the market to strengthen their squad again this summer, which may also carry the added attraction of European competition next season.

Sheffield Wednesday have reached an agreement with preferred bidder David Storch for a takeover of the club, Your Site News understands.
Storch and his Arise Capital Partners consortium and the clubs administrators have been working towards the paperwork being signed.
Its believed, all being well, an announcement could come this weekend.
Edwards admits Wolves will lose players after relegation
Rob Edwards admitted Wolves will lose some of their best players this summer following relegation from the Premier League.
There has been a lot of speculation about the future of midfielder Joao Gomes in particular, and Edwards told a press conference: Weve got some good individual players.
I know theres going to be interest and some of them are going to leave and, if they do, it has to be right for the football club as well as the individual. Joao is a really talented player, but we will see what happens with him.
Weve lost really talented players in the past and its making sure were really good in the market so that, when we do lose some of our good players, were bringing in some really good ones.
Dundee United want extension to Ferry contract
Jim Goodwin has revealed that Dundee United will attempt to extend Will Ferrys contract.
The 25-year-old wing-back has emerged as one of Uniteds key players over the past two seasons since joining from Cheltenham. His deal expires in the summer of 2027.
Without a shadow of a doubt, yes, said Goodwin when asked if he would like to tie the Irishman down on a longer contract.
From a managers point of view, I always want to try and keep my best players. From the clubs perspective, I understand that theres a player trading model in place.
In order for that to work, we have to sign good, young, talented players, develop them, raise their profile and if our valuation is met at some point in the future, then were no different to any other club.
Will knows what I think of him on a personal level. His performances over the last two years have been extremely consistent. Its no surprise to me that he is on the radar of a number of other clubs. We will offer Will Ferry an extension on his contract.
Regardless (of whether he extends), if our valuation is not met for the player, then hes under contract for next season and hell remain here. Well have to see what the summer brings.
Goodwin, whose side visit Kilmarnock on Saturday, expects Ferry to be on the radar of several clubs.
A lot of recruitment now all over Europe is very data-driven, said the manager. Wills numbers over the last two years, both defensively and in terms of assisting goals and obviously now lately adding goals to his game, he will be really high up on a lot of teams lists.
Thats what we want as a club. At the end of the day, it means that were doing something right. Every player within our squad has got a valuation. If that valuation is met, then weve got a decision to make as a club.
McFarlane defends Enzo Fernandez's Madrid trip
Chelsea interim boss Calum McFarlane defended Enzo Fernandezs decision to travel to Madrid after the squad were given time off following Sundays FA Cup semi-final win over Leeds.
The Argentina international was suspended internally for two matches recently after appearing to court a move to Real Madrid during a podcast interview, saying he would like to live in the Spanish capital.
Fernandez was seen attending the Madrid Open with team-mates Marc Cucurella and Joao Pedro.
We gave the lads three days off, said McFarlane. I think it says a lot about the group that they go away together. I love the fact that they spend time together.
Theyve gone to Madrid to watch tennis. I dont see an issue with it. He was there last year with his team-mates. The last time they had a break they spent time together as well. I think its a positive sign for the unity within the group.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe on summer recruitment structure:
"I think the structure is in place now.
"Last summer was obviously very difficult for the football club. We were going into the biggest window that we'd had in recent memory without the infrastructure.
"The club were well aware of that, it was an unfortunate situation. But now with Ross Wilson's' expertise and experience, and David Hopkinson's expertise and experience, I think we're in a much better place to make quicker decisions, better decisions, and conclude deals better and quicker.
"Naturally, I think we're a lot stronger in that respect now.
"Whether it's easier to do deals and recruit players, that's sometimes unknown. But in terms of our part, I can assure everybody we'll be a lot better placed this summer.
"There will be an element of change in the team. Idea is to recruit in every window, drop feed unlike last summer. But with smart editions I think you can improve very quickly. Think recruitment is important.
"I want the best players at the lowest cost. If we can find ways to do that than Im all for it."
'I have to have confidence I'll be here next season'
Eddie Howe's own future has been a topic of intense debate in recent weeks following a run of nine defeats in 12 Premier League games which has left Newcastle in 14th place in the table, eight points shy of European qualification, but separated from the relegation zone by the same margin.
While he knows a continuation of that run - the Magpies face Brighton at St James' Park on Saturday - could prove problematic for him, he insists he remains fully focused on taking the club forward.
He said: "I've never needed clarity in my head [on the future], in the sense that I'm here, I'm working and I'm committed. A football club has to do what a football club has to do. The football club needs to see we are going in the right direction and there's a positive feeling and fighting on all fronts. You can talk as much as you want but the proof is in how the team performs. I'm under no illusions that that needs to be positive.
"I don't need reinvigorating. I'm invigorated. My motivation levels are really high.
"I think you learn a lot from these moments we are in. I'm learning a lot currently. Difficult runs force you to really revaluate everything and improve so sometimes in the most disappointing moments are the times when you improve the most."
"I have to retain that confidence (that I'll be here next season). It's doesn't serve anybody, not to have that long term vision. But we need to win games.
"I feel there's unity within the football club. But in my position, I'm under no illusion, I have to get results - to keep that feeling and that trust. It's a responsibility that comes with the job."
