Dillian Whyte's trilogy fight with Derek Chisora could be back on | 'He doesn't like me, I don't like him'

Dillian Whyte is planning his own return to boxing and believes he could have a trilogy fight with Derek Chisora.

Whyte's fiery British rivalry with Chisora saw them meet in two heavyweight barnburners in 2016 and 2018, which both resulted in dramatic victories for the Brixton man.

Chisora was on course for retirement after his loss to Deontay Wilder at the O2 earlier this month, but Whyte believes the prospect of gaining revenge in a trilogy fight will lure Chisora back to the ring.

"He says he wants to fight me and he's not going to retire," Whyte told Your Site News.

"Not a lot of boxers get to have trilogies in their career. I'd love to fight him again. I think a trilogy would be great because we're both at a stage of our careers where there won't be a lot of running around, a lot of moving around.

"We're going to stand there and trade. He doesn't like me, I don't like him. He doesn't want to lose to me, I don't want to lose to him."

In their first bout Whyte came away with a split decision victory and stopped Chisora in the 11th round of their second bout.

"I've already slept him once. I gave him one of the best sleeps he's had in his whole life. So it would be good to get it on. The fans want to see good fights," said Whyte, who is determined to put his career back on track after a stoppage loss to Moses Itauma last year.

"They want to see proper heavyweights having a proper slugfest and this will be another one. So I'd love to get it on. If Derek's serious he knows where I am. I'd fight Derek Chisora tomorrow."

He suggests it could be made for the summer. "I'd love to make this fight happen in the next couple of months. He says he'll be ready. I'll be ready May, June time. If he wants it, I'll be ready," Whyte said.

"It'll always be a great fight because we're going to stand and trade," he added. "I think he's a credible opponent.

"He just comes to fight. He doesn't care… That's why I love fighting him."

American former world champions Andy Ruiz and Wilder are also in his sights. "I'd love to fight Andy Ruiz, Deontay Wilder, another guy called Nelson Hysa, he's No 1 in Albania, I'd love to fight these kind of guys for their good ranking and they're top guys," Whyte said.

"So I'd love to fight those kind of guys."
